What are hair transplants?
Surgical transplantation of hair, usually from one part of the scalp to another.
They're also known as Hair plugs.

How long do hair transplants last?
Transplanted hair may continue to grow for years but is not guaranteed to grow permanently. The hair surrounding the area hair is transplanted to may still be affected by balding, leaving patchy hair on your scalp.

Alternatives to hair transplants include wigs, hair extensions, topical hair fibers, hair powders, and micropigmentation 1.

After hair transplantation, it may be helpful to continue treatment with minoxidil or finasteride to prevent further hair loss 2.
