What is it?
Surgery to reduce the size of the breasts.
How long does it last?
The effects are permanent and cannot be reversed.
Breast reduction removes part of the breast tissue in order to reduce the size of the breasts. For complete removal of the breasts, see periareolar mastectomy and double incision mastectomy.
