    Galop run a helpline supporting LGBT people, their friends & families across the UK. They operate a freephone telephone helpline service as well as online chat and email support.

  • Stop Hate UK

    Stop Hate UK provide a LGBT hate crime support line and tools to report hate crime online.

Homelessness and housing

  • Shelter England

    Shelter are the UK housing and homelessness charity and can provide online, in person, and telephone helpline advice.

  • Shelter Scotland

    Shelter Scotland provide similar services in Scotland.

  • Shelter Cymru

    Shelter Cymru provide similar services in Wales.

  • Simon Community NI

    Simon Community NI provide homelessness support throughout Northern Ireland and have a 24/7 helpline.

Mental health

  • The Samaritans

    The Samaritans offer 24-hour telephone support.

  • Childline

    If you’re under 18, Childline can help with any issues you have. You can also chat to them online.

  • Lifeline (Northern Ireland)

    Lifeline are available 24/7 to talk about trauma, suicide, self-harm, abuse, depression and anxiety.

  • Mindline Trans+ (England and Wales)

    Helpline for people who identify as trans or non-binary run by mental health charity Mind.
